The Latin-American Chile is planning to host a MotoGP event in the near future. The country has started with preparations for the built of a racing circuit. It will be designed by the famous Hermann Tilke and Kevin Schwantz will operate as an advisor.
The circuit is going to be named Motorpark Santiago and will be designed according to the latest FIM and FIA homologation track standards. The main track will be part of a 180 hectare facility which will include a 1.4 km karting track.
